By Ronald R. Day, Sr. One has claimed that "they found him [Pastor Russell] dead aboard a train in Texas Halloween night (devils night)." We find on one site the following: "Pastor Russell died in the train car that Halloween night as the result of multiple ailments." One imagines and assumes it to be a fact that "Charles Taze Russell was ritually killed on Halloween, 1916 and his remains buried under a pyramid." Some claim that Rutherford had Russell murdered; some claim that the Freemasons had him murdered. It is false that Russell was buried under a pyramid, but we have discussed that elsewhere . Many sites make much ado about Russell's death on October 31, 1916, and make all kinds of imaginary false connections between his death and spiritism , demonic occultism , freemasons, Illuminati , alleged Satanic bloodlines , etc. Menta Sturgeon was with Brother Russell when he died. However, Russell died on October 31 in the early afternoon, before Hal...

By Ronald R. Day, Sr. (ResLight; RLBible) Many quote from various editions of the Studies in the Scriptures in such a way that does not take into consideration that none of the editions after 1905 were ever totally brought up to date to reflect what Russell taught from 1904 onward. Some changes were made in 1905 editions, and some more around 1914, but Brother Russell never did make a full updating of the Studies in the Scriptures , so as to totally reflect his change of viewpoint in 1904. Most editions of these Studies being published today still do not fully reflect Russell's change of view of 1904 . Because of this we are left with what may seem to be inconsistencies in the Studies. Regarding Russell's change of viewpoint in 1904, briefly, before 1904, Russell held that the "time of trouble" would end in 1914, based on Barbour's conclusions. Even before 1904, evidently some Bible Students had come to the conclusion that 1914 would see the beginning, not the ...

There have been many false statements being made concerning Charles Taze Russell and the "Skull and Bones" Society. Some have even claimed that CT Russell was the "founder of the Skull and Bones"; most endeavor by various imaginary lines to in some vague manner connect Russell with that Society. The goal is to make it appear that Russell was in some way a leader in an alleged Satanic Illuminati plot to take over the world. Thus, it is usually also falsely claimed that Russell was a 33rd Degree Freemason , and that he was the founder of the Jehovah's Witnesses religion. The false argument, is, in effect, that CT Russell was the member of some alleged Illuminati bloodline that was controlled by the Jesuits. Evidently, it is being assumed that anyone of this bloodline cannot be saved by the blood of Jesus. As yet we have not found any statement as to how one who is alleged to be of such a bloodline could not become be covered by the blood of Jesus. Russell s...

We are presenting here some claims being made regarding Russell and the Freemasons, and some brief comments and links to where one may find documentation. It is claimed that Russell was a FREEMASON; of course, Russell's works overwhelmingly testify that Russell was not a Freemason. For links to some of our research related to Russell and the Freemasons: Russel and the Freemasons It is claimed that Russell is buried in a cemetery that is owned by the Masons, and that there is a road in the cemetery called "Masonic Way". In reality, the road called "Masonic Way" is in between the cemetery and the Greater Pittsburgh Masonic Center. This road is not "in" the cemetery. Furthermore, the Rosemont United Cemetery is not "owned by the Masons," nor is it a "Masonic cemetery" as many claim. We called the Rosemont Cemetery and were told that it is not owned by the Freemasons. The present owner is listed as Nigel Bentley; w...
