Con Man

Con Man - Russell Falsely Accused

"Con Man" is one of the labels that many place upon Russell. He has been similarly called a swindler, charlatan, quack, scammer and many other things.

The word "con" as used in the expression "con man" is actually short for confidence man. As such the word carries a meaning of a deceiver, one who tries to trick others by deception into parting with money or other goods or services. Is this true of Brother Russell? Not at all.

Below are links to discussions of various accusations and/or alleged proofs that Russell was a con man, swindler, etc.
