Russell and the Freemasons

Until the 1990s, I was unaware that anyone ever thought that Russell was a member of an organization such as he consistently preached against, that is, the Freemasons. I first heard of the assertion that Russell was a Freemason from Fritz Springmeier, whom I corresponded with briefly in one of the online forums back in the 1990s. I then came into contact with the work of David Icke and several others. Since then there have been authors, both online and offline, that I have found repeating the false accusation that Russell was a Mason. Especially is this so on Youtube, which contains perhaps hundreds of videos pouring forth a tremendous amount of false accusations against Russell. Nevertheless, I have not found anyone who spoke of Russell as being a member of the Freemasons until Edith Starr Miller published her books, entitled "Theocratic Theocrasy". Of course, she totally misrepresented what Russell said and bent some quotes from Russell to make it appear that Russell was part of some kind of conspiracy to take over the world. At any rate, I am providing links below to much of my research related to the false idea that Russell was a member of, or that he was in agreement with, the Freemasons. -- Ronald R. Day, Sr.
